Exposing the "Weather Underground" and Astrophotography

Our program for September should appeal to anyone interested in the local weather (and who isn't) and those interested in astronomy and astrophotography.

Our September program will be presented by local VVCC club member, Jerry Madero, who first developed an interest in weather while having fun as a "storm chaser" back in Iowa. Jerry is part of the Weather Underground network and will be presenting an informative presentation about his personal weather station and the weather data that you can find on your computer via the Weather Underground web sites.

Join us for a great time....

Visitors are welcome to attend all meetings. After attending a few meetings to determine if this group is of interest to you, we would like to have you join us and enjoy all the further benefits of membership. Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are one of the benefits of being a club member.  Except  the Seniors Introduction to Computers classes all SIG meetings are held in Cottonwood at the Clemenceau Museum Building on the corner of Mingus Ave. and Willard Street. Seniors classes meet in the computer classroom of the Cottonwood Middle
School on Mingus
